A Japanese P2P client, very different from the well-known Kazaa and others.
WinNY is a new P2P file exchange program that is inspired by the design principles of the Freenet network, and is also able to keep the identities of users untraceable. As with Freenet it is basically implemented in Java. WinNY has been developed as a C++ application. WinNY uses three fundamental features that are different from others: high transfer speeds, maintaining the privacy of users, and easy access to downloadable files via a unique technique in this type of program, called clusterization.
